PRODUCT BY STYLE
Distinctive. Timeless. Enduring. The distressed look refers to floors that feature authentic rustic visuals and distinctive natural wood characteristics including knots, burls, mineral marks and pinholes. This aged wood look adds authenticity to any decorating style. Pinnacle products exhibiting these characteristics are referred to as "Classics".
Refers to flooring that has been scraped, distressed and sanded by hand. These floors feature natural characteristics, a sculpted
irregular surface and thus an aged, worn look and usually have softly pillowed edges.

SMOOTH FACE PRODUCTS
The soft luster of a smooth face conveys a warm, inviting feeling the moment you experience it. Smooth finish hardwood flooring expresses elegance and timeless, traditional beauty. It is at home in any décor, from contemporary to country and everything in between.
Plank flooring is defined as boards with a width of 3" or more. At Pinnacle, we define plank floors as those between 3" and 4-1/2" in width. They deliver a wider and bolder look, one that focuses more on individual boards.
WIDE WIDTH PLANKS
Wide width planks are those boards that are at least 5" in width and above. These wide width planks have been used for centuries in places of distinction and were valued for their great widths and superb wood graining.
RANDOM WIDTH PLANKS
Random width planks feature three or more distinctly different widths installed in a pattern from narrow to wide, or in a random order. Reminiscent of old world flooring installations, the differing widths offer a variety of design and patterns.
Where is the room located that you are considering hardwood for?
Above Grade: Above the outside soil line
If the room is above grade, any Pinnacle product (solid or engineered) can be installed, depending on the subfloor material.
On Grade: On the same level as the original soil line
If the soil line has been cut into a hillside or bermed, it must be considered below grade.
Below Grade: Below the outside soil line
If the room is below grade, only Pinnacle engineered products may be installed.
What is the subfloor constructed of?
Wood - Planks - OSB (Oriented Stand Board) - Plywood
All engineered and solid Pinnacle floors can be installed over wood subfloors.
Pinnacle hardwood floors can be glued down over 3/4" particleboard in sound, dry condition with a minimum density of 40 lbs.
All Pinnacle engineered flooring can be glued down to concrete subfloors regardless of the grade level. In addition, the Natures Elegance collection (a 3/8" thick solid floor) can be glued to concrete subfloors that are above grade level.
